LISTEN๐Ÿ‘๐ŸพTO๐Ÿ‘๐ŸพME๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ: This movie is your moitvation to go VEGAN

While this trailer (click image) gives you an idea of what The Game Changers documentary is about, it does not capture how compelling this movie actually is. I attended the NYC premier last week and was blown away.

The documentary follows former MMA fighter and combat trainer James Wilkes on his journey to heal from some pretty serious injuries to his knees. His research uncovers great athletes from the past and present who are plant based. He interviews several athletes, scientist and medical professionals who help him realize not only will a vegan diet help him heal faster, it will also make his body perform better… even in the bedroom. Okruut!

Despite my already being vegan, I learned so much because The Game Changers actually breaks down how plants effect our bodies and how meat harms us. But the aha moment for me was the revelation of the origin of the myth that meat is good for us and that the tactics used by the meat industry to convince us that meat is necessary and ‘what real men eat’ are the exact same tactics used years ago by the cigarette industry… even down to the same advertising company.

If all of that is not convincing enough… this movie also explains how the meat industry is killing our planet.

There is an impressive list of executive producers on The Game Changers including James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, Alexis Ohanian (Serena Williams’ husband) and many more. I’m not sure why it is only in theaters one day, which is today-September 16, but there is a digital plan that will be announced today. You can buy tickets here.

The Game Changers made me feel good about my choice to be vegan. But whether you are thinking of going vegan or not, this film is well done, informative and will keep you entertained. I hope you will see it and let me know what you think.
